The H-T-L Line lead Xtreme to Victory!

On a cold Thursday night in Mitchell, the Springfield Xtreme visited the Mohawks looking to continue their winning ways.

It was a difficult start for the Xtreme, as Mitchell came out skating and working hard. But, with tremendous goal-tending effort from Xtreme Rookie: Trey Blank, the Mohawks were kept off the scoreboard.

After 10 minutes of domination from Mitchell (the Xtreme being out shot 13-3) the Lamouruex Line clicked into gear and first set up Jesse Mitchell for a goal to take the lead. Then, they continued and helped Players Choice of the Game and Xtreme Rookie: Rhett Schrofel to score his first goal as an Xtreme.

After the 1st period, the Xtreme were up 2-0 and the new Hanson, Thomsen, Lamouruex (H-T-L) line kept things going in the 2nd period with goals from both Lamouruex and a second goal from Xtreme Captain: Jessie Mitchell.

Finally the 3rd period came around and they continued the strong play scoring goal #5, accounting for all the Xtreme offence.

With some great opportunities generated from other lines, the Springfield Xtreme controlled the 2nd and 3rd periods to win the game 5-2 against the Mitchell Mohawks. The H-T-L Line accumulated a total of 11 points and were a dominant force all night.
